Beach, Marina and Train info

Here are some details about our apartment located in Costa de Sol a few mins from the beach, marina and town. 

Ideal for couples/families wanting a quite relaxing holiday in a convenient area, but close enough to where it all happens.

Main building has a secure entrance & lift, and our second-floor apartment includes a view of the sea with grass areas below. Lounge, 2 x bedrooms (one is a terrace bedroom), separate kitchen & bathroom with separate shower.

BEACH: To get to the beach, turn right outside of our apartment/building, and wander down. You will get to a main road and on the right-hand side, there are some steps that take you under the road to the other side. A beautiful private walkway takes you straight to the sea front and lovely sandy beaches await. Turn right, and there is a lovely relaxing walk to more bars, chiringuitos, restaurants...all overlooking the sea.

PUERTO MARINA: Once you've reached the beach (initial directions as above), if you turn left, it will take you straight to the picturesque Marina. Keep going...you wont miss it. There are many different types of restaurants there, shops, entertainment, boat trips and an incredible atmosphere. There is also a tourist train during the day that will take you around the streets from this location.

ARROYO DE LA MIEL: The beautiful buzzing town is a short stroll away and the easiest way to reach it is by walking left when you come out of our apartment building. When you get to the top of the road, there is a small cafe. Turn left there, and just keep walking straight. It will take you to the beginning of Arroyo. When you get to the main road, turn right to walk right up the hill past cafes, bars, restaurants until you reach the top (roundabout). Turn left, and you've arrived. Great during the day and a fantastic atmosphere during the evening.

ARROYO DE LA MIEL / TRAIN STATION: Once you've continued walking through the main street, at the end there is the train station. From here there are some great destinations to go to for just a few euros each (literally). As well as Malaga Airport, their is also Malaga Centro which is an incredible 'must-see' destination with shops, restaurants, bars and Spanish life!. Amazing during the day and incredible during the evening with roof top terraces and atmospheric and cultural experience. One of the train-stop destinations is Plaza Mayor - and incredibly large shopping complex with food, cinema and some bars - indoor and outdoor. Another destination is Fuengorola, which again is an interesting part of Malaga with nice beaches, shops & places to eat etc. A good day out to explore. If you do decide to visit Malaga Centro, the incredible port is a must-see - a short walk from the Malaga centre (centro)
